My little brother got married last week in San Diego so our family traveled out for the wedding festivities.
We met up with the brides family there and my parents, grandparents and all my siblings as well as my brothers two best friends (shown below) all made it.
Aria was a car riding champ! She really likes riding in the car, but doesn't care much for the getting into her car seat process. I think she just doesn't like to be bothered by us moving her arms and legs around to put the straps where they need to go. She gets a little fussy from the moment we put her in her seat until the car actually starts moving. Because of this Ben and I wait until the last possible moment before we walk out the door to get her ready in her seat.
Aside from that it was a really nice little trip. We all stayed in a bunch of condos, which was fun. The night before the wedding the guys had a bachelor party and that left Aria and I to hang out with my sisters, mom, and grandma's. We decided that Aria needed her finger and toe nails painted to match her fancy dress. It was quit the event! My little sister was able to get all of her toe nails painted while I fed her, but it was a bit more of a challenge once we started on her finger nails. She was pretty calm, but kept smearing the polish by making a fist. Aria's nails are so small, they are hard to see. Because of all this we had my grandma Joy held a little LED light on her keyring over the nails while Molly painted and I held one hand until it was dry while my grandma Jean held her other hand...it took 2 great grandma's, an aunt and me to get this girls nails done! But aren't they cute.
Ben and I had also not had a picture of the three of us taken since Aria's birth so we took advantage of being all dressed up and my brother Weston's mad photography skills while we were at the wedding. Here are a few of the great shots we got...
All the boys. Including Ben, my 4 brothers, my brother-in-law, and soon to be brother-in-law.
And the girls...
the nieces plus Aria...
It was a really nice wedding and after the ceremony we had a late afternoon lunch at a place my mom arranged in Coranado, it was right on the beach with a beautiful view of the water. Here's a congratulations to Colby and Codi and good luck in their new life together!
